Cossack

Reza Shah began his military career at 12 and rose through the ranks. He was appointed commander of the Cossack Brigade in January 1921 and led them during the 1921 Persian coup d'état. After serving as the Minister of War, he was appointed Prime Minister in 1923 and later voted into the monarchy by the Constituent Assembly in 1925.
